For the Love of All Things Oz

Last year I made my first trip to the annual Chesterton Wizard of Oz Festival in Indiana.
It was a 13 hour trip, done in one days drive, then on to three days full of Wizard of Oz goodness!

I had the pleasure of meeting many of the "Everything Oz" members, munchkins and many strangers, all there for the same reason... their love of The Wizard of Oz.

So what does my art have to do with this, you ask?
Well I created many Oz-some things for the festival. One was a set of fan blades that were auction of at the Oz Auction, which helps raise money for the festival..

I also made a painting that was auctioned off (along with other other donations) to help raise money for one of the munchkin's medical expenses.
Below is a picture of the little boy who won! How happy does he look???

And finally I created two hats for the Oz Hat Contest.

My friend Tammy made the bucket of water hat!
